EMCS was selected as a winner for the Business Journal's Top Milwaukee Workplaces program in the small company category (1 to 100 employees). This award recognizes Milwaukee-area companies that are doing their best to foster a great workplace.

APWA Public Works Projects of the Year

EMCS was part of the project team for renovations of General Mitchell International Airport Concourse D, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, which was selected as one of the American Public Works Association’s “Public Works Projects of the Year” for 2007 in the Structures $2 to $10 Million category. The project was also recognized by the Wisconsin Chapter of the American Public Works Association as one of the “Wisconsin Public Works Projects of the Year”.

WTS Woman of the Year

Rose Morgan, President of EMCS, was honored as "Woman of the Year" by WTS (Women's Transportation Seminar - Wisconsin Chapter). This award honors a woman who is an outstanding role model and has contributed to the advancement of women and minorities in transportation.

2005 WisDOT Excellence in Highway Design Award

EMCS's project, Port Washington Road Bridge, Glendale, Wisconsin, was selected to win the “Best Urban Bridge Design by a Consultant Firm” category of the 2005 WisDOT Excellence in Highway Design Awards.
